About me

I am bala....living in salem, tamil nadu,I pursued my computer science graduation in vysya college,after my ug degree ,I worked in pocket fm for some months, some days of continous work in company, I decided to learn UX and successfully completed certification program, also created a project that demonstrates my design ability

The product: 

This a online ticket booking app,for those who struggle to get tickets in counter.

My responsibilities is to research about the product and create wireframes,mockups and prototype

Dev is a banking employee, who needs to book tickets for movie on online app, because he select his which is convienent for him

As we proceeding to end of the research,we move to create site map to set up a proper path way for the user, the site map is the blue print for the app

Payment mode should be given in a separate page not along with ticket details


Location button should be easy to change, because when travel user to another city, in that time we don’t need to find it hard

Impact

This app mainly aimed on age between 18- 35 because these major user who book tickets online, The color tone will garb the youths to use this app, this app will be very simple to use, more importantly the convenience fee has displayed before going to checkout.


What I learned:

Throughout this process, I have learned many things, the process research, interviewing users, creating a story of a user etc, After completing the project i can feel a change in me

The problem: 

To create a online movie booking app for people in rural and urban areas, where they find hard to get tickets in counters due to high rush,booking online is comfortable for the users and they can select their desire seats.


The goal: 

Our goal is to build a good interface, where the users will not face any kind of complicated process while booking tickets


In the research i come to know about our target audience,i get to know about the problems faced by users while booking ticket,here, hidden convenience fee is the first pain point that always the user gets affected

The platform may add additional fees during the checkout process which users might not notice


Provide an interactive seating chart,users also facing some glitches during seat selection process


Complex navigation process is confusing users, this makes them difficult to know about show timing


The policy should be transparent, this should informed during the checkout process
